I almost did not include this photograph. Patrick and I do some carotid-artery play and some breath play. THIS photograph, however, is not quite what it looks like. What you can't see is that the standing end (the long loose end coming after the noose) is not attached to anything. It's draped across the beam over his head and not tied off at all. But there is something powerful about a noose around the neck. And occasionally we like to go there.
